Our Mission

Our mission is to create second chances for the homeless and low income community by empowering them with the skills and resources that they need to thrive.

 

Flourishing Families is a 501(c) non-profit empowering people in our community by assisting them with numerous services and resources. These services and resources include: shelter, career development, financial advising, counseling, childcare, and numerous others.

 

Our VIsion

 

• Provide shelter - The goal of Flourishing Families is to obtain a 24 hour shelter where food and clothing will be provided for anyone in need.

• Provide career development opportunities -Classes are available to families or individuals in our program that empower individuals to seek and gain employment.

• Provide financial advising - Classes are available to families or individuals in our program that provide information on financial stability, home ownership, debt management, etc.

• Provide counseling - counseling is available to families and individuals in need.

• Provide childcare - The goal of Flourishing Families is to provide low-rate daycare to employees, volunteers, and families in need.

 

Flourishing Families is not an emergency assistance organization.
